I walked away from this career fair experience with confidence, four interview opportunities and 54 new friends.

Meeting with employers face to face in as many events as possible opens up a whole new planet of learning as a business student. I recommend it for everyone!

Every time I attend a professional development event, I learn something surprising about being a business professional….most of all, I affirm that I already have it in me to be one.

I was so nervous and got on that bus and it all fell into place. I can’t wait until next year!

Meeting an employer for the first time is nerve-wracking. Meeting the same employer a second, third and fourth time at events on campus is a confidence builder. I am someone they know in a positive way. I can do this!

The way I speak, the way I write, the way I look, the way I respond…all make a difference in my future professional success.

  This is way more fun than I thought. I can really relate to the business professionals around me. I must be doing something right.

The Etiquette Dinner is a chance for all students and employers to network, practice and enjoy being a business professional.

Interacting with business students this prepared is encouraging to an employer. Especially during these times for our economy. The future is looking brighter.

My professor is someone I respect. Having him at this event made me respect him even more. He cares about our success. That’s cool.

This sounds kind of odd, I guess. But, they are just people like us. I need to remember that. It gives me courage to be my best professional self.

Everybody is on the same team at TTU. It makes me proud. We go to school at the best place ever.

Among those I met tonight, I met a politician, a bank president and the guy from my marketing class that always got the highest grade on the test. I liked them all. More importantly, they liked me.

This is my favorite event of the year. I get to watch all of our students see themselves as the business professionals they already are. I love that part of my job.
